Can be carried out in an afternoon on a rotation basis or can be used as a series of lessons to investigate the amount of sugar in drinks. Differentiated worksheets to accompany tasks.

Fruit tasting activity where children taste various fruits. Children record what they like and dislike about the fruits. Children then conduct a ‘survey’ of all children in the class. Following this, children to create a bar chart/tally/tick chart to collect whole class data. Used with a year 1 class, but can easily be adapted to suit.
